Are these fragrances real?
100% absolutely—yes! We guarantee it. All of our fragrances are name-brand designer products, and they come from the same place as those fragrances found at major retail stores.

How can you sell these fragrances so much less than the major retailers?
We choose to give you a good value on your fragrance purchases. We do not get any incentives to maintain “manufacturer suggested retail prices”. Our value is in our significant discounts, not in the extra free gifts you may occasionally get at large retail stores when you pay full retail.

Are these fragrances fresh?
Absolutely. Our fragrances are sourced directly from the manufacturer and are bought in container loads. They are equally as fresh as any fragrance you would find at retail. There are online sites that sell store returns or old merchandise, but we are not one of them!

What are the differences among parfum, eau de parfum (EDP), eau de toilette (EDT) and cologne?
It relates to the concentration of perfume oil in the fragrance. Every fragrance contains perfume oil. The higher the concentration of the perfume oil, the longer the fragrance will last. A cologne has the least amount of perfume oil; a parfum has the most. Here’s how much perfume oil each type of fragrance typically has:
Cologne – 2-5% perfume oil
Eau de Toilette – 4-10% perfume oil
Eau de Parfum – 8-15% perfume oil
Parfum – 15-25% perfume oil

Where does the aroma in fragrances come from?
The manufacturing process to create a fragrance starts with an individual ingredient or a collection of ingredients. These ingredients come from many different sources such as flowers, grasses, spices, fruits, woods, leaves and many more. There are basically five scent categories of fragrances—floral, citrus, green scents, spicy and earthy.

What are notes in fragrances?
Scents are blended to react in certain ways over time. That means fragrances usually have three distinct aromas known as “notes”. There are top notes, middle notes (also known as heart notes) and bottom notes.
Top notes are the lightest of the fragrance blend. They are the first scents that you smell when you spray a fragrance. They’re usually strong initially but evaporate relatively quickly.
Shortly after, the fragrance mellows a bit and actually may change as the middle notes become apparent as the top notes evaporate. This change can be subtle or very distinctive and can take up to an hour, depending on your body chemistry.
After approximately 30 minutes, the base notes begin to emerge. These notes blend with the middle notes to form the true scent of the fragrance.

Why does a fragrance smell differently on me than on someone else?
It’s not the fragrance, it’s your skin, your body chemistry. Fragrances consist of hundreds of chemicals, each reacting differently to your skin. Your body chemistry affects the way a fragrance lasts and smells on you. Your body chemistry is comprised of your normal body temperature, acidity, moisture, fats, proteins, fibers and the sugar content of your skin. Even foods you eat and medications you take affects your fragrance’s aroma and performance. As a result, after you spray a fragrance it may come on too strong, turn into a different scent, fade away or smell absolutely heavenly on you.

How long will a fragrance keep on my shelf?
As a general guide, you will want to use your eau de toilettes and colognes within three to four years; parfums and eau de parfums, within two to three years. Many of you have probably had fragrances last longer than that, and that’s great. Every fragrance is going to be different just based on its composition of ingredients. You can extend the life of your fragrance by storing it at room temperature, out of direct sunlight and heat.
